Continuing on from last year’s successful Fluchtpunk/Vanishing Point project (you can read about it here), Tangent Projects will launch it's second edition of this non-exhibition project on February 17th, with events on the February 24th and March 10th.

Fluchtpunk/Vanishing Point is a 6 week run of text-based activations happening at Tangent Projects from February 4th to March 18th.
For the seventh and final closing event, Lxs sexi-liadxs generously propose to offer a conclusional shared space; a reading, a space for reflection and an offering of communal sustenance.
The sixth event of our 6 weeks of activations, Apendix, is the staging of the two produced parts of Maria Alcaide's project "Carne de mi carne".
We are very happy and excited to invite you to our end of year open studios and end of residency wrap up!

For their second Affine project, Gabriel Virgilio Luciani and Margot Cuevas, are working with Marc O'Callaghan on a performance intervention, within the context of Katy B Plummer’s exhibition ARMOUR FOR FLOWERS.
ARMOUR FOR FLOWERS is a project about accidental mystical encounters, and how it might be possible to understand and integrate direct spiritual experiences while existing in a stubbornly secular world.
Screenings - Saturday and Sunday, 16 & 17 November, 18.30 - 20.30. In collaboration with Loop City Screen Festival. The film runs for over 51 minutes and is in original version, English.
Soda_Jerk worked in collaboration with Sam Smith for over 4 years to complete Hollywood Burn, it is an anti-copyright epic constructed from hundreds of samples pirated from the Hollywood archive.
As part of Districte Cultural L’Hospitalet’s parallel programme with Barcelona Gallery Weekend, Tangent Projects will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 12-18h.
On Saturday you will also be able to visit the studio artists in their studios, join a experimental textile workshop by exhibiting artist Mariadela Araujo and enjoy a live puppet theatre performance by Karla Kracht.

The ASE system consists of universal components that connect elements that relate to the tactics and behaviors women frequently integrate in their daily journeys in order reduce the risk of aggression, and to increase their feeling of security.
In ASE workshops, each participant develops a device adaptable to their mobile phone based on their own experiences.
