The death of a mobile, or rather, the suicide of a mobile causes a pain similar to that of the loss of an arm. The relationship between us and our technological counterparts can be stronger and more physical than the ones we have with other living beings. In this visual essay, we will dissect the auratic corporeality of the devices held dearest to us, thus dismembering the physical-affective relationships between us. Our anatomy is reflected in that of the mobile and vice versa.
