No vive ya nadie, todos se han ido
During a closed FluchtPunkt/Vanishing Point 3 community activity, Agustina invited artists who previously took part in her 2023 Reading Room event (No vive ya nadie, todos se han ido). Together they further considered themes of home, oral tradition and conventional women's roles, through the process of cooking and communal food sharing.
The final public event will see the artist sharing a locro recipe that resonates with the idea of 'home' and 'nation', and she will invite everyone to eat together. Those attending will be welcome to bring a dish of their choosing, to continue the discussion around the themes of migration and displacement. Agustina is exploring the incorporation of sound to add a new layer of meaning to these concepts, and will continue to record material throughout this project.
The evening will conclude with a reprise of Tanya Zommer's Maslenitsa event from last year, with a pancake picnic and a reading of a short text by Chekhov - serving as a celebratory feast for all and marking the closing of Fluchtpunkt/Vanishing Point 3 and the completion of Lucía Retamar's Picnic Blanket project.

Durante FluchtPunkt/Vanishing Point 3, Agustina invitó a artistas que previamente participaron en su evento durante el Reading Room 2023 (No vive ya nadie, todos se han ido). Juntas conversaron sobre conceptos como hogar, la tradición oral y los roles convencionales de la mujer, a través de un proceso de cocina y de compartir alimentos en comunidad.
En el evento público final, la artista compartirá una receta de locro que resuena con la idea de "hogar" y "nación" e invitará a todes a comer juntes. Les asistentes podrán traer un plato de su elección, para continuar la discusión en torno a temas de migración y desplazamiento. Agustina está explorando la incorporación del sonido para agregar una nueva capa de significado a estos conceptos y seguirá grabando material a lo largo del desarrollo de este proyecto.
La noche concluirá con una reedición de Maslenitsa, evento que realizó Tanya Zommer el año pasado, con un picnic de panqueques y la lectura de un breve texto de Chéjov que servirá como fiesta de celebración para todes, marcará el cierre de Fluchtpunkt/Vanishing Point 3 y la finalización del proyecto Picnic Blanket de Lucía Retamar.
