For her Reading Room event, Agustina Fiorretti is proposing something different. For one week only, she will install her work "No vive ya nadie en la casa, todos se han ido (No one lives in the house anymore, they have all gone)" in the gallery.
Agustina proposes to invite ten women to activate the installation. Thereby offering them the possibility to weave together new stories and give rise to ten different books that will reflect different ways of gathering materials and proposing different stories. During this process they will be able to reflect on the concept of home, movement and nation - as well as the search to turn something portable (an object, a house or a memory perhaps) into new stories that will form part of these books.
Agustina Fioretti is an Argentinian artist based in Barcelona. She works across photography, video, text and installation.
